The Mississippi River is another great way to get to Fort Madison! Try out our new courtesy dock at the Fort Madison Marina! Our new marina is ready to great boaters and the Hospitality Building with a restaurant, bar and patio, will be completed in the Spring of 2024. Larger hotels have plenty of parking for your truck and trailer if you bring your boat to Fort Madison. You will find outdoor plug ins for fishing boats too!

PADDLING TO FORT MADISON? We love epic adventurers! Many people make the 2,340 mile trek from Lake Itasca in northern Minnesota to the Gulf of Mexico below New Orleans. Fort Madison is a great resting stop with a riverfront hotel, grocery store and our downtown within a few blocks of the riverfront.
