Parade of Lights
Every year on the Friday after Thanksgiving, enjoy a lighted parade down Fort Madison's Main Street. View over 40 hand crafted lighted sculptures on Avenue G at 6:30PM. The sun sets and the streets of downtown Fort Madison begin to glow with the festive glow of holiday lights. The parade route heads down Avenue G, through the heart of the historic district, where spectators line the sidewalks, hot cocoa in hand, eagerly awaiting the procession.
