The Zombie Apocalypse Fun Run will be a family-friendly event featuring a run on Pollmiller Trail and through the campground while dodging zombies lurking throughout the park! Participants will brave the trail in hopes of keeping their brains (also known as flags, from the flag football belts) across the finish line and surviving the zombie apocalypse! Those who return with both of their flags are declared survivors, and those who are not so lucky will be infected!
Registration will begin at 12:00 PM in the Pollmiller Beach parking lot, and the fight for your lives will kick-off at 1:00 PM! Pre-registration will be open until October 17th at https://www.mycountyparks.com/.../Zombie-Apocalypse-Fun...
The registration fee is $25 (pay at the event) and includes a swag item, walking “dead” taco meal, and zombie antidote (Gatorade). Day of registration is welcomed, but the swag item will not be guaranteed.
This event is brought to you in partnership with Fort Madison High School’s Cheerleaders and Green Team. A portion of the proceeds will be donated back to their groups.
