Breakfast Grilled Cheese
Ingredients:
Hinterland Dairy’s Cinnamon Honey Quark
Tull’s Honey (Available at Hinterland Dairy)
Appleberry Orchard’s Fresh Apples
Cinnamon Raisin Bread OR Wingert Bakehaus Sour Dough Bread
Spread a thick layer of Fresh Cinnamon Honey Quark on some buttered cinnamon raisin bread.
Add thin slices of apple and a drizzle of honey.
Grill until browned and melty and enjoy!
This also makes a sweet little dessert, too!

Melty Sourdough Grilled Cheese
Ingredients:
2 slices sourdough bread, cut 1/2 inch thick
1 to 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
2 ounces Hinterland Dairy sharp cheddar, grated (Franklin Road)
2 teaspoons butter (a large knob)
Place cast iron skillet on burner and bring to medium heat. Spread mayonnaise on one side of each slice bread, covering it with a thin layer all the way to the edges.
Add butter to pan and swirl pan. Put one slice of bread, mayonnaise side down, into the pan. Place shredded cheese on top, followed by the other slice of bread, mayonnaise side facing the sky. Turn heat down to medium low and cover the skillet.
Let cook 3 minutes, then check the sandwich to see if it is turning golden brown. If not, cook for another minute, pressing down on the sandwich with a spatula. Then flip and cook another 3 to 4 minutes (uncovered), until cheese is melted, pressing down a bit until both sides are golden brown.
Remove from pan and sprinkle top with flaky salt. Cut in half and enjoy!
